The Group was created in 2000. Its cast consists of former graduates (today’s tutors) of Kiev music secondary school named by Glier. In spite of the fact that the group’s cast changed for several times during its history, the founders of the group, Natalia Lebedeva and Yulia Roma, remain invariable leaders of “Night Groove”. There were playing famous young Ukrainian musicians in it, such as Maksim Kochetov (saksophone), Andriy Arnautov (bass-guitar), Volodymyr Lihoshva (guitar). There are several interesting acoustic programmes in Group’s repertoire, created on the basis of original arrangements by Natalia Lebedeva. There can be picked out “Brazil metamorphoses” and “Seasons of the Year” among them. “Night Groove” is a frequent partisipator of Ukrainian jazz festivals.

The Group is a laureate of Young preformers’ competition “DoDz’2002” (Donetsk). To the point, Yulia Rima is considered by specialists to be one of the best performers of Brazil music.
