The “Unity” group was organised in Donetsk in 1995. At first its work was mostly a clubbing one, later musicians began to take part in jazz festivals in Donetsk, Nicopol, Vinnitsa, Kriviy Rig, Cherkassy, Dnipropetrovsk, etc. Then the Group had concerts in Germany (1995). The style of the “Unity” can be marked as a pop jazz in all its fields. Its musicians are well experienced in “fusion”, “jazz-rock”, “acide jazz”, “R & B” and “soul” styles. Since Group’s arrival to Kiev (1998) there has begun a collaboration with a talented female singer Gaitana. The “Unity” collaborated with a famous jazzman Tony Guerrero for tow years (1998-1999). From time to time Group’s participants perform and make records with other ensembles. The Group’s pequliarity – an ability to play different sorts of music – made the “Unity” the favourites of club public, which is always delighted by colourful interpretations of pop, rock and jazz hits in Group’s performing. Group’s own music is an individual theme to be admired with. Nowadays the “Unity” is working under new solo album.
